Does anyone know if it is a Health & Safety regulation that any work related
illness over 3 days should be reported?

Hi everyone
Just a short note about something I found out about the HSE today which I
thought might be of interest to others.
I am currently signed off worked trying to rest my hand due to work caused
RSI. Today my employers have told me that because I have been off work for
more than three days with a work related illness they have had to report it
to the HSE. Obviously this is good from my point of view because they are
at least acknowledging that it is work related. I know that this is not the
case for everybody on this list. Anyway, the HSE have specialists that have
to come and inspect your work station in cases like these and work are
organising this at the moment.
Just thought it was a useful piece of information that people might like to
know.
