Dear All,
There is no doubt that the RIDDOR regs require over 3 day
accidents at work to be reported (where an employee must
take more than 3 days sick leave due to an accident at
work). It then gets complicated. There are various
illnesses which must be reported and certain types of
injury to non-employees must be reported, as must any
accident where hospital treatment was required. There are
further bells and whistles. Clearly under-reporting is
rife - so many of the list report that their employers do
not accept that WRULD/RSI is work related.....
