Not had experience of a touchpad -- at present I am alternating between a
mouse and a trackball and can't decide which is better. What I am using, on
both, and which has been quite useful, is Mousetool, which has been
mentioned on this list before. It can be downloaded at www.mousetool.com.
It's free but the developer does ask that you make a $20 donation to
charity.
